Just a little update...

I really wonder if anyone is out there in Xanga land. It's been a little while...not too long. So if anyone cares and still frequents this place, here's a little FYI:

I did  graduate. December 16th. Yay. I now work on campus. I'm a full-time staff person. It's not the most interesting or exciting job. But it pays and not too bad actually. I'm in the long process of applying to graduate schools (3) and taking the GRE. Ummm, I'm not married or anything...no children. Just me, myself, and I. And my car ;)  I'm trying to grow up and grow out of bad habits. Ummm. I went on a cruise over Spring Break. It was great. I'm going to go again one day...in the near future.

And that's life.

And here are some recent pics.

wow. it seems like forever since I’ve seen xanga. I don’t know what jogged my memory, but here I am. With facebook and myspace I don’t have time for xanga anymore…lol…Even with school and ALL its baggage—I don’t even have time for facebook and myspace really…it’s a lot. And, well, it’s getting on my nerves.

            Let’s see, what’s new:

1)      I graduate December 16th, and I’d really like that day to come quicker! ECU isn’t all that bad—but, the people are!

2)      Ummm, my birthday is on Sunday. I’ll be 22 on the 22nd….teehee…cute ehh?

3)      Umm, I got a car…finally

4)      Ummmmmmmmmm…I got my belly button pierced…

5)      I decided not to go to law school…

6)      Rather, I’m going to grad school—but haven’t decided where yet…

And that’s about it…I’m still tired. Haven’t taken a total of 10 naps this semester, and that really bothers me L…lol…. I’m sleep deprived, and that’s most likely because of this damn homecoming step show tomorrow. I’ll be glad when it’s over and done with…Stepping is fun and all that---but it’s time consuming! And I’m tired, and it shows…

Just some recent photos:

Rate My Professor

I was just thinking, what if there was a RateMyStudent.com. Professors could go there and rate us  and tell other professors to NOT let us in their classes. Wouldn't that be, weird. "Don't let her in, she always falls asleep and never shows up on time..." I could see that happening, one day, professors being able to screen their students...letting in who they want. I guess in some instances they do this already...with having to have specific GPA credentials to be admitted into a specific school...etc, etc...Just had that thought. Sitting here at work. Get off at 10...20 minutes to go....my job is pretty insignificant, can't say that I feel productive...which I recently realized is important to me. I'm getting paid to sit here. I know I shouldn't complain, but I am. I would like to see a product...to say, "Hey! You see that? I did it and they paid me for it!" I shelve books, I answer the phone, I register patrons in the computer, I try to answer questions (which I almost always fail at). But, it's not my cup of tea. If they gave me something else to do, like...anything...I wouldn't feel cheated....

YAY! Spring is here. I need to get something for my allegries...but I love Spring nonetheless. It makes me feel like I should be happy...nothing else. It's still kind of chilly outside, but this is North Carolina and I know that won't last very long . I'm sitting here at work. I get off in 24 minutes, then I have class at 1. Then I'm done for the day. I have 2 exams coming up, I should prepare myself while I still have time. As long as I have been in school you'd think I would have learned how to study by now. But that's not the case ...kinda sad. But I get stuff done! I might be rushing around, but it gets done!! haha. I just found out that we're [NPHC of ECU] not having a Spring Stepshow. What? I'm not stepping...but I wanted to see the Spring show from the audience vantage point again. That sucks booty. I graduate in December and I'm not looking forward to being a returning graduate/alumni---you can't (or I should say shouldn't) act the same way as the undergrads (in my opinion at least!)...there's nothing like being an undergrad ...oh well I guess. People suck around here. Now, I get off in 19 minutes. Yay!
